On behalf of the Editorial Board, I am pleased to present the 236th (Oct 2026) edition of PreSense, featuring another rich array of meaningful content.

I am delighted that in October, our nation celebrates Dussehra with festive cheer and gaiety. In November, we will be celebrating Diwali. PreSense extends warm greetings to all readers.

Global warming is a great cause of concern for all.  Our Editorial analyses the reasons for the global warming and the role of civil society and the Government to reduce the global warming.

Recently, Indian Pilot Capt. Smit Machchhar saved 174 passengers from the hijack attempt.  When the whole world, including Crown Prince of Dubai, celebrated the heroism, our secular opposition parties did not find worthy of appreciation.  Cover Story deals with this sad phenomenon.

From this edition, we are starting a series “Yoga for all”, giving tips for healthy living.  The first article is on yoga for pre-teen kids.  Please do not miss this series.

Other Highlights:

Prince cartoon

Visionary Titans: Exclusive interview with Dr B Jayashree

Freedom Fighter: Veer Surendra Sai, Odisha
