67th Edition (Oct 2012) of our ezine PreSense contains the follows:

1.  Man of the month and cover story: Dr Ashok Khema IAS, who was transferred 41 times in his 20 years of service.

2.  In the historical section relating to October, we have featured India-Pak War (1947) and India-China War (1962).  Interestingly, invasion by enemy countries  in both the cases started on 20th October of the respective years. Immediately after our Independence, India was facing challenges at the borders.  Pakistan and China occupied a major portion of our J & K then.  The problem remains unresolved till date.   Please read the insight.

Sep 12 - Homage to Dr Kurien + World War II + many more

66th edition of ezine PreSense (Sep 2012).  This ezine contains broadly the following:

1.  Cover story:  Ever cheerful 'Amul Girl' wept for the first time in early Sep 2012 to mourn the demise of Dr Varghese Kurien, Milkman of India. Triambak's touching cartoon also adds value to the cover story.

2.  Under historical events relating to September, we have featured World War II, which commenced on 1st Sep 1939 and ended on 2nd Sep 1945.  Please look at the rare pictures.

5.  Under 'Ignited Minds', we have featured Mr Aum Murugan, a Railway employee who has conducted more than 700 eye camps and health camps, besides providing vocational training to 3000 persons annually. 

6.  Recent decision of the Government of India to allow FDI in muti-brand retail has generated lot of debates in India. We have featured this issue under our controversy section.

July 2012 - God Particle + Space Race

July 2012 Edition of PreSense contains the following:

1. Man of the Month : Mr Satyendra Nath Bose, forgotten Indian Scientist.  'Bosons', the recently found out God Particle is named after him.

2.  God Particle :  On 4th July 2012, Scientists found out the God Particle at CERN, Geneva.  CERN's Head Quarters at Geneva has a tall statue of Lord Shiva (Nataraja in Cosmic dance posture) at their entrance.  The scientists compare the Shiva's cosmic dance with the dance of sub-atomic matters.  We have explained in a simple language the significance of God Particle in the Universe with the photograph of Nataraja at CERN, Geneva.  

3.  In the historical events relevant to July, we have featured with interesting facts of the 'Space Race' between USSR and US between 1957 and 1975, including the man landing on the Moon in July 1969.  We have also produced an exclusive podcast with rare pictures and video clips on the Space Race in the following link. This space race assumes more importance after the US and USSR landed the Rover space craft on Mars on 6th August 2012. 

4.  We have featured Deepali Phadnis (Mrs Asia International 2012) and Anuradha. Dhimani Parekh (The Better India) under 'Ignited Minds' Section for their achievements.

June 2012 Edition PreSense

63rd edition of ezine PreSense (June 2012) broadly contains the following.

Every month, we feature one achiever as 'man of the month'.  This month, we are pleased to honour Mr Hansraj Gangaram Ahir MP, who is a whistleblower of the coal scam involving Rs.25 lakh crores.  This month's cover story features him.   Besides, we have the following contents.

National and historical  section:  We have covered extensively the 1975 Emergency with rare photos.  We have also included the image of Indian Express, with blank editorial, which conveyed a powerful message to the readers.  This blank editorial conveyed powerfully  more than what could have been communicated through a well written editorial.  The forgotten period of Indian history is remembered.  Many new generation youth of less than 45 or 50 may not know this part of history.

April 2012 - Sansad Ratna Awards 2012

After a break of nearly one year, your ezine is back in your hands from this month.  This ezine, which was focussing on Corporate themes, will henceforth feature success stories and positive stories.

Presently, due to cynical and negative messages, our youth get demotivated.  This resuls in their losing self-confidence and self-esteem.  It is a dangerous situation, leading to youth believing that the entire system is wrong.

With this background, we have now decided to feature only positive stories and to motivate the youth of this country.  April 2012 issue of ezine PreSense talks about the top performing MPs, bureaucrats and other individuals.
