July 2009 - Magic of Perception

What is perception? How perception is formed? What is the relation between perception and brand image or reputation? - These are all the questions that come up in the minds of many of the Corporate CEOs and professionals. July 2009 issue of ezine PR-e-Sense deals with the 'Magic of percpeiton' and answers many such questions.

In this issue, we carry an exclusive interview from Mr Richard Gaunt, CEO, Benchpoint, London on the various apsects of perception. We have also discussed about 'Image Audit', a tool to measure the hidden perception of the stake holders, for management decisions.

Recently, US based Continental Airlines, frisked the former Indian President and most respected leader Dr A P J Abdul Kalam by asking him to remove his coat, belt, contents in his coat pockets, shoes and socks in public for security check, knowing fully well that they were violating the Indian protocal guidelines in Indian soil. This issue had created anger against the Airlines and also against US amongst the Indians acorss the globe. We conducted a snap survey online to study the perception changes of the people. This issue carries the case study of this issue.
